A TAXI boss and his family are seeing eye-to-eye - after having their sight problems fixed at a Sheffield clinic.
After wearing glasses and contact lenses for years Arnie Singh, aged 29, from Ranmoor, took the plunge and had £3,000 laser eye surgery at Sheffield Vision Centre.
And the director of Sheffield City Taxis was so pleased with the results he recomme
nded it to 10 of his family and his friends!
"I was sick of waking up in the morning and having to reach for a pair of glasses or contact lenses before I could see properly," said Arnie. "So when I heard about the Vision Centre I just went for it and I've never looked back.
"It has given me back my freedom, I have pretty much 20/20 vision now without the need for glasses or contact lenses, and it's fantastic. Naturally, I've been telling anyone who will listen!"
Since then 10 pals including Arnie's brother Indy Singh, 39, from Crosspool, sister Sunita Purcell, 40, and brother-in-law dentist Roddy Purcell, 40, from Wadsley have all taken the plunge to get their sight corrected.
All procedures are carried out by surgeon Matthew Edwards at the centre based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
