THIS year's Ecclesfield Gala will take place on Sunday August 31 at Ecclesfield Park.
Funds raised from the annual event will be donated to The Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund, and last year the gala raised around £8,000 for the charity.
A dog show, which in 2007 attracted over 145 dogs, will be the main event alongside a kids' fun fair, bouncy castles, a football shoot, a tombola and stalls.
The event runs from 12noon to 5pm.
