DADS in Sharrow are being urged to spend more time reading to their kids thanks to a grant from a national book scheme.
Bookstart, who work to promote reading, awarded money to Sharrow Sure-Start, Sheffield Bookstart, Sheffield Council, and Consilient Consulting to get more fathers reading to their children.

Regular storytelling sessions will now be held specifically for fathers and male carers, following on from a successful event with author and illustrator Steve Smallman at Highfield Library on London Road.
