A MAN smashed his way out of the cab of a crane he was manoeuvering when it toppled over as he was working in Rotherham last night.
The man, aged in his 50s, was on the Corus site at Aldwarke when the crane crashed onto its side, trapping him.
He smashed a window to free himself before emergency services arrived and was taken to hospital suffering from shock and neck injuries.
