City centre open later
LATE-night opening is making a return to Sheffield city centre.
Shops and attractions will be opening late every Wednesday from June 4 to September 17.
Bars and restaurants will be offering special deals and there will be live music and street performances.
The extended opening is to celebrate the arrival of the Vivienne Westwood exhibition at the Millennium Galleries and to encourage people to make the most of the city centre on summer days.
The Winter Garden and Millennium Galleries will be open until 9pm.
Many shops will be opening late, including Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, Debenhams, Sainsbury's, TK Maxx and Adams.
There will also be music in the Winter Garden and street entertainment around the city centre.
City centre businesses are encouraged to take part. Contact Hannah Brailey at Creative Sheffield by emailing hannah.brailey@sheffield. gov.uk or calling 0114 223 2345.
