IT was a dream come true for this bright spark from Sheffield who got to meet two musical theatre stars after winning first prize in a drawing competition.
Little Charlie Crabtree, aged eight, from Gleadless, met Troy and Ryan from High School Musical 2 after her design won South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service's Child Safety poster competition called Bright Sparks.

Charlie, from Valley Park Community Primary School, beat off competition from more than 170 hopefuls from across South Yorkshire with her eye-catching poster promoting the importance of fire safety.

She was among youngsters from more than 400 local primary schools who took part.

Her prize was a family ticket for four to see High School Musical 2 Live on Stage at Sheffield's Lyceum theatre.

But the best bit was a VIP backstage tour before the show which included the chance to meet some of the stars.

Charlie's mum Rachel said: "Charlie was so happy when she found out she had won. We are all really proud of her and it was great to meet Troy and Ryan.

"It is a fantastic piece of work and most importantly it made her think about the importance of fire safety."

Steve Makepeace, South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue's head of community safety said: "Raising awareness of fire safety amongst children is a key priority for the service, which is why we were delighted to team up with local schools for this important initiative.

"Charlie's entry was really strong and, through the poster, she presented very powerful fire safety messages about not playing with matches."
