MEMBERS of the Third Battalion of the Mercian Regiment will be up to their elbows in soapy water, doing battle with dirty cars, in Chesterfield on Saturday.
The charity car wash takes place from 11am to 2pm at the Saltergate multi-storey car park.
Even the mayoral car will get a good soaping - with all proceeds going to Hope4-Heroes, an armed forces charity which supports wounded soldiers, particularly those involved in recent or current conflicts.
