Firefighters tackle Sheffield blaze

FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to deal with a blaze which broke out at a former Sheffield estate agent's this morning.
Four engines are at the scene on Taplin Road, Hillsborough, after being alerted to the incident at 8.05am.

A fire service spokesman said the property was not in use but adjoining properties had suffered some smoke damage.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.

Police initially closed off Middlewood Road from Hillsborough Corner to Dykes Hall Road but it has since been re-opened.

Wrong again, the shop had just opened as a clothes shop!!!

The Star just relies on the information that their mates in the Fire Brigade press office tell them - they don't actually go out and get stories.
