A DARING duo from Sheffield have returned home after biking, kayaking and rafting across Costa Rica to raise money for charity.
Tracey Armston, aged 26, from Nether Edge, and Patrick Dawson, 24, from Hunters Bar, completed the Coast to Coast Challenge, raising more than £6,000 for the Prince's Trust.
The pair, who work for Liberata, which manages council tax and housing benefits for Sheffield Council, flew out to San Jose in Costa Rica before embarking on a week's journey.
They used mountain bikes, small kayaks, river rafts and foot to travel more than 250 kilometres from the Pacific coast in the west to the Caribbean coast on the east.
The team of 12 Liberata employees from the UK also visited schools and villages.
The group raised £40,000 for the Prince's Trust.
