POLICE and councillors in Chesterfield are to host a surgery in the town to give locals the chance to raise issues of concern.
The event is to be held at the Hasland Community Police Office, The Green, Hasland, on Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm.
PC Claire Whitbread, from Derbyshire Police, said: "We already work closely with councils, schools, residents and community groups to solve issues within the neighbourhood, but this surgery takes that a step further.
"It gives residents the chance to talk to us and their local councillors about problems they are having in the area so we can work together on them."
