WE incorrectly stated (Page 18, June 18) that Kieran Blackwell had raped Cheryl Camm before beating her to death.
He was never accused of rape but was jailed for murder.

It was also stated that he had attacked another woman, Stacey Glenn, and raped a 19 year old on separate occasions.

Though these allegations were made to police, Blackwell was never pros
ecuted by the authorities and it is wrong to suggest that he did commit these further offences. We regret these errors.
