Footballers are needed for a 24-hour five-a-side match taking place in Sheffield for charity.

Goals Soccer Centre, Norfolk Park, is hosting the sponsored event from 9am on Saturday, May 4, in aid of the Sheffield Hospitals Charity.

The money will be spent on providing extra facilities for patients with Cystic Fibrosis.

Players rotate during the 24 hours and anyone interested in taking part is asked to get in touch.

Gaynor Wand, manager at Goals Sheffield, said: “We are delighted to run the event for such a worthy cause. Over 8,000 children, teenagers and young adults suffer from Cystic Fibrosis in the UK, and any additional comfort for the patients goes a long way.”
