THE clocks went back to the 1950s for a group of people with learning disabilities at a day centre in Balby.

Service users at the Eclipse Centre, run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust enjoyed a fun-packed programme of activities, including a performance of a song they wrote for the event. They helped paint room decorations for the event, and built their own pink Cadillac out of papier mache.

Nurse Christine Caddle said: “Staff arranged bowling, hula hooping, hand jiving and The Twist.”
