TWO chances to chuckle at Smug Roberts, a familiar TV face in recent years and the main draw for tonight and Saturday's Last Laugh Comedy Club at Sheffield's Memorial Hall.
Although appearing fresh from filming Peter Kay's new sit-com, Smug, pictured, has previously appeared in shows such as Cold Feet, Phoenix Nights, Cutting It, Buried and the film 24 Hour Party People – as well as scoring a Top 20 cult hit with his Me
at Pie Sausage Roll song.
The Manchester mirth- master is already known to radio audiences courtesy of lending his voice to Radio Four's The In Crowd.

Also on are Irish comic Caimh McDonnell and Geordie gagsmith Barry Dodds.
- The Lamproom Theatre, in Barnsley, begins its new season of comedy, Just Fair Laughs, tomorrow. MC Tony Vino introduces Paul Kerensa and Andy Kind for an evening of stand-up comedy.
