AFTER gradually sneaking into our lives after the demise of The Speakeasy local risers Playground Mafia headline the Steel Stage at Sunday's Red Festival at The Leadmill.
The event runs from noon with 20 acts playing on two stages for a measly £5 entry fee. Section 60 top a main stage line-up that includes 2008 tips The Displacements, a revived Durban and fine young rock act Scrim. The Spires, Watch This Fire Spread, and Paperdots are among the minnow stage highlights.

The Playgrounders play The Harley on August 18, support chart-hugger Wiley at Plug on September 20 and join a soundclash-style gig at The Boardwalk on October 4 featuring avanGaad, Paddy Orange Project and House of Dolls.
