MARK Robins knows that his players travel with the feel-good factor for the League Two showdown with Bournemouth tomorrow.
The Rotherham United manager has seen his side beaten just once in 13 matches this season, prospering not only in the league but also in the Carling Cup and Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
But, having impressed with a 4-2 win over Yorkshire rivals Leeds United on Wednesday night, it's now back to domestic duty for the Millers as they look to continue their mission to pull away from the wrong end of the table.
They are back in plus points after beginning the season on -17.
"We have got a tough game at Bournemouth and we have got to turn our attention to that," stressed Robins.
"I watched them on Tuesday night; we know it's not going to be easy."
"It's part of my job to keep the players' feet on the ground. We spoke briefly after the (Leeds) game about what is needed.
"It's all down to the players now. We all know what we want to do, what we want to achieve as a football club.
"We have got to go down to Bournemouth now and build on this solid performance. The chairman demands it from me, I demand it from the players; we have got that responsibility."
Robins has targeted only survival this season and, having moved out of a position of negative equity after their 17-point deduction following administration, the Don Valley boss has warned there is no room for complacency at such an early stage of the season.
"It's looking good for us at the moment, but as soon as you take your eye off the ball in football things can go wrong.," he warned.
"Always in football you have got to have that little look over your shoulder to make sure everything is in order and that you are doing the right things. That will certainly carry on.
"We have had a feel-good factor since pre-season. It's not just being back in positive points but winning breeds confidence. That is just part of the job."
With four different scorers in the Leeds' win, Robins admits he faces the kind of selection headaches he likes.
"It's excellent. That is what it is all about," he said.
"It gives you headaches in the areas you want headaches. Just hopefully we have come through unscathed from the Leeds match; I think we have."
Meanwhile, while Robins revealed earlier this week that Danny Harrison was in the reckoning for a first-team recall following injury, but he decided to rest the midfielder to make sure he was ready for the trip to Bournemouth.
Former Tranmere Rovers playmaker Harrison was substituted late on in the 1-1 League Two draw away to Dagenham and Redbridge with a minor hamstring injury.
"I just thought that I would give him a few extra days to recover," he confirmed.
"Danny's a really good professional, and we will talk. We will make a decision from there, but he will travel to Bournemouth."
