MARK Robins has warned his players not to get complacent despite a wonderful start to the new season.
The Millers have lost just once in 13 matches this term, but journey to Bournemouth today for a crunch League Two game which, if they win, will give them a welcome 12-point lead over their opponents who are still languishing in a negative points' position.
"I don't want any complacency, the players know that," revealed Robins. "You can't afford to take your foot off the pedal at any point in the season because you'll come unstuck.
"We're improving with every game. I was absolutely delighted with our win against Leeds this week. It was a great result for us.
"It's another step for us along the way to improving and another win. We've got to enjoy the Leeds win and take the confidence from that victory into the Bournemouth game.
"They'll (Bournemouth) make it difficult for us. They're on a good run of late and had a good win against MK Dons in midweek.
"But it's a game we can look forward to. There's a slightly different edge to the match because of respective league positions, but it's just another game for us.
"Bournemouth will be treating it as a home match, but that doesn't matter to us. We'll be going there to try and win."
Robins resisted the temptation to bring back Danny Harrison for Wednesday night's 4-2 win over Leeds. The midfielder has been nursing a minor hamstring injury.
But Robins has revealed Harrison will travel with the squad to the Fitness First Stadium and said: "I thought it was maybe a bit too soon for Danny to come back, so I took the option of giving him an extra 48 hours. He'll be coming to Bournemouth with us."
However, Spanish striker Omar Garcia is the only short-term fitness headache, and Robins added: "Omar has a gashed shin, he could be OK, but he probably needs a game under his belt in the reserves to get his fitness back."
