Ann Beedham at ann.beedham@sheffieldnewspapers.co.uk CAN anyone help Mrs U F Lofthouse (nee Willis) to find her cousin,
Brian Willis?
She says: "Our grandm
other had 26 grandchildren and I know 20 have died. Brian used to live at Leigh Street, Attercliffe. I haven't seen him for over 60 years.
"His mum and dad, Jim and Nellie Willis, had just one child. I've rung all the Willis' in an old phone book, but had no luck.Brian will be in his 70s now."

Terry Butlin writes from Hamilton, Canada in the hope of making contact with some of his old school friends.
He says: "I used to live in the Richmond Hall Estate of Sheffield in the 1950s and '60s. I attended Brook Secondary Modern School from the day it opened. Before I left the school, I was prefect then head boy. My claim to fame was making a lamp in the metal and wood workshops that was presented to Sir Frederick Mander when he officially opened the school. I would love to contact anyone who attended the school during that time.
"People I chummed around with out of school were,
Graham Claytor, John Bradley, and the famous "Harvey" brothers (Brian, Roger and Jack).
"I served an apprenticeship and worked at Davy United from 1956 until I left for Canada in 1996. I worked evenings and weekends at the infamous "El Mambo". I was known as Terry Butlin by everyone except those at Davy's, where I was known by my other given name of George. I'd love to discuss old times with anyone who may think they know me."
