JOHN Horsley is trying to find old friend Terry Hoyland, who lived in Sheffield in the 1960s.
John says: "Terry lived with his grandparents from 1960 to 1962 or '63 when he left to live and work in London. I have not heard of him since."

PAUL Guest is trying to find an old Nautical School pal ahead of a reunion on June 7.

Paul, from Todmorden in Lancashire, says: "Fifty years ago, I and 21 other youg men, left the Nautical School, Boulevard in Hull to take up careers in the Merchant Navy.

"I am organising a reunion - two of my fellow pupils are coming from Australia, one from New Zealand and another from Spain.

"However I seem to have hit a stumbling block with the last one - Robert Marsh, who would now be 66 or 67 and came from Sheffield.

"The only information I can give is that he went to sea with the British India Steam Navigation Company in 1958 and enquiries from other pupils indicate that his father was a Methodist minister in the Sheffield area in the 1950s and early '60s."

JOYCE Mallinson (nee Rhodes) is trying to trace her cousin Sandra Rhodes, who she has not seen since the 1960s.

Joyce, from York, says: "I don't know Sandra's married name. I think she had two children. Her mother was Peggy Marshall and her stepfather was Frank Marshall, who brought her up in Sheffield.

"She had a sister, Ann, who was older. My father was Charles Rhodes and Sandra's father was, I think, Leslie Rhodes. He died and then Paggy married Frank. I would love to find Sandra as she is the only cousin I have on the Rhodes side of the family."

•Contact: Joyce Mallinson, 48 Main Street, Wheldrake, York, North Yorkshire, YO19 6AE, tel: 01904 448906.
