ANDY Ingham from Huddersfield is writing a book on the history of 127 (F) Squadron RAF during World War Two and is appealing for information about one of the pilots.
He says: "One of the pilots who served with the squadron between September 1944 and May 1945 came from Sheffield.
His name was
Lawrence Hyland and he was born in 1922. Post war he left the RAF and returned to his home town. It is believed that he died in 1988.
"I am trying to locate and make contact with any friends or relatives of Lawrence Hyland."
