Sheffield agent Reeds Rains notched up almost half a million visits to its website in just one month.
Some 450,275 visitors looked at the local agent’s site during September - and that’s the equivalent to the entire population of Malta checking out the site!
Now, the agent is using the interest in its website to tailor the services it is offering to prospective homebuyers.
Lisa Sharp, branch manager explained: “This high number of visits indicates that people are interested in finding a property.
“If we also look at another report from Reeds Rains, the First-time Buyer Opinion Barometer, it also shows there is a high interest of tenants with 93% of those surveyed saying they want to become home owners and 17% expecting to buy by the end of the year.”
The company has come up wth specific ways of speeding up the buying process as a result.“In preparation for this, we have created a list of buyers who are registered with us who are currently looking to purchase property in this area so, as soon as we have completed the property details, we can email and phone potential buyers with the view to achieve a quick sale,” said Lisa.
