South Yorkshire holidaymakers heading to Wales have been told to make sure they are prepared if they go walking in Snowdonia.
Those walking in the mountainous region are being advised to take a map, compass and water and wear suitable clothing.
They should also consult the weather forecast.
South Yorkshire Police has helped promote the advice by publishing it on the force’s website.
John Grisdale, from Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team, said: “Once you decide where you’re going, please remember you need to prepare for your journey to be safe, even in summer.”
