Gardeners will celebrate ‘The Cycling Year’ at their annual Allotment Soup event in Sheffield.
This year’s activities take place at Manor Allotments off City Road in Sheffield.
There will be a decorated bike competition, apple pressing, story telling, pigeon flying, willow weaving, art and sculpture, music and poetry, drawing and painting.
Tea, coffee and freshly pressed apple juice will be served, and homemade bread and cakes will be for sale.
Soup made from allotment produce, and baked potatoes will be served in the evening.
The popular annual event takes place on Sunday, September 28, from noon to 5pm, and from 6pm to 8pm
