Cliffhanger

What is it: Cliffhanger is a high-energy festival of all things climbing, biking, running and more. Marking its 10th anniversary, the festival – which climaxes with the BMC British Bouldering Championships - will transform Sheffield city centre itself into an adventure playground.

Where: Devonshire Green, Barkers Pool, the Peace Gardens and the Winter Garden

When: Friday, July 8 - Sunday, July 10

Times: Saturday: 10am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday, while the British Bouldering Championships will be running 11am - 7pm both days. There will also be live music in the evening on Devonshire Green Friday night 8pm - 10pm and Saturday night 7pm - 10pm.

Hillfest

What is it: Hillsfest and is based around arts, music and heritage and its evolved via by the community in S6 and across the city of Sheffield for the community in S6 and the city.

Where: Hillsborough and Hillsborough Park

Horrorcon

What is it: HorrorCon, gathers the horror community together, in a friendly and atmospheric space, to experience all forms of the genre; including Art, Tattooing, Music, Literature, Film, Cosplay, Special Effects demos and more. Meet with like-minded people in the heart of the most haunted county Yorkshire! Talk to & rub shoulders with the leading names in the horror industry.

Times: Saturday: 11am till 5:30pm. Sunday: 11am till 5:30pm. Priority entry tickets are available in limited supply which allow early entry from 10 am.

Slip and Slide​

What is it: Yorkshire Cancer Research brings a giant 100m water slide to the city. Participants will have the chance to throw themselves down on an inflatable before landing in a small pool of water.

Where: Howard Street, Sheffield

When: Saturday, July 9

Times: Saturday: 11am till 5:30pm. Sunday: 11am till 5:30pm. Priority entry tickets are available in limited supply which allow early entry from 10 am.

Price: Single slide tickets are £5. You also get one free rental of an inflatable, or you can bring your own.

Stannington Carnival

What is it: Entertainment, rides, craft stalls and food from around the world this years carnival will be a fun filled family event.

St Lukes Tractor Rally

What is it: Local Farmers and Tractor fans are taking to the rural roads of Sheffield in aid of St Luke’s.
