CHILDREN will be able to express their creative sides over the summer holiday at weekly activity sessions to be held at Clifton Park Museum in Rotherham.

Each Wednesday, craft days are being held for children aged between four and 10.

Sessions will run from 11am to 12.30pm, and 1.30pm to 3pm, with themed days for youngsters to make kites and sew hand puppets.

Rotherham’s Cabinet Member for Tourism and Culture, Councillor Amy Rushforth, said: “Clifton Park Museum really is the jewel in the crown of Rotherham’s cultural activities and it’s great to see staff making sure the summer holidays are filled with creativity.

“The activities on offer will really fire up the imaginations of all those that take part.”

Each session costs £2.50. Call 01709 336 633 to book.
