Playwright and actor Sharon Holland Taylor will perform her play Dirty Laundry in support of a charity which supports people with terminal illnesses who want to die at home in Sheffield and North Derbyshire.
Dirty Laundry has been performed to sell-out audiences after originally being produced as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
It has raised thousands of pounds for various charities and will support the work of Helen’s Trust when it is staged at Sheffield City Hall in September.
Sharon said: “This is a great opportunity to take such an inspirational play to a wider audience, quite daunting but I’m sure we’ll enjoy every minute of the experience.”
The two-woman play was co-written by Sharon with TV and screenwriter Alison Pennells and tackles the subject of breast cancer recovery.
