A group of 45 cyclists made a whistle-stop visit to Thorne Masonic Hall as part of a gruelling challenge to cycle 280 miles in three day.

The cyclists, all of whom are freemasons, visited the hall as part of the ‘Provincial Perimeter Pedal’ that takes in 24 masonic halls around Yorkshire.

Billy Robinson, aged 55, of Stonegate Lodge, Thorne, and Bob Corfield, 67, of Hallcross Lodge, Doncaster, were among those taking part in the challenge to raise money for the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution Festival.
