NEWS IN BRIEF: Furniture being sought for play
Penistone Centre Stage Musicals are desperate to borrow a high backed, buttoned, leather winged chair and a ‘partner’ ornate desk.
They are needed for their production of Annie at Penistone Paramount on Monday, March 19 to Saturday, March 24.
The furniture is for the set of the Warbucks mansion, the residence of the 1930s billionaire businessman who opens his home to orphan Annie.

Tremendous table top school sale
A TABLE top sale is being held from 11am until 1pm at Greystones Primary School on Saturday, March 3.
There will be lots of tables plus refreshments and a cake stall. Admission is 50p for adults and children go free.
Panto tickets still available
THERE’S still a chance to see Frecheville Original Production Society’s performance of Treasure Island.
The last show takes place this Saturday, February 18.
The production is being staged at Frecheville Community Centre in Churchdale Road, Frecheville, Sheffield, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for children and senior citizens.
