A SOUTH Yorkshire singing sensation who trained at a performing arts school in London is set to perform again on home soil this weekend with a gig in Sheffield.
Kortni Turner will take to the stage at Wadsley Bridge Working Men’s Club, in Halifax Road, on Friday with new band Sour Cherry.
The event will also include music from three other performers, including Courtney Harmony Skinner, Melissa Jackson Bernardino and girl group Uneeq.
Kortni, from Worrall, has completed a foundation degree in musical theatre at London’s Studio Centre and is now hoping to break into the big time with a pop music career.
