REVIEW: Status Quo/Roy Woods Rock n Roll band, Sheffield Arena

After selling over 118M records the Status Quo bandwagon still keeps rocking and rolling and tonight is the Sheffield stop on their annual tour. After forming over 40 years ago and having 60+ chart hits, original members Rick Parfitt and Francis Rossi are still capable of giving a powerful performance, even performing at Glastonbury this year.

Also appearing was the Roy Wood Rock n Roll Band, another veteran, Roy in the 60's and 70's was in The Move, Electric Light Orchestra and Wizzard and played a selection of his impressive back catalogue including, I Can Hear The Grass Grow and See My Baby Jive. His familiar long hair and beard with round tinted glasses is unchanged and his closer Rock And Rollin Christmas has nearly the entire audience on its feet singing and dancing.
