Malta: Craine are able
AS far as send-offs for your debut album go, playing in Malta as guests of your football idols is right up there.
Craine will join Sheffield United on their pre-season tour of the sunshine isle next month, much to the joy of Blades fans Tom Stebbing (drummer), Chris Roberts (lead guitar) and brother Dan (bass).
"Both my brother and I are lifelong Blades fans," says Dan. "When we got the call from the Blades asking if the band would like to support the pre-season tour I was speechless.
"To combine my passion for music and the Blades is an unbelievable opportunity."
The jaunt starts July 6. Craine will play as part of Malta Music Week in the coastal resort of Bugibba and at a Blades charity evening attended by the players at the Excelsior Yacht Club.
