Celebrities and ice stars came together for a skating gala celebrating 10 years of success at iceSheffield.
Dancing On Ice professional Mark Hanretty wowed an audience of more than 1,100 with an aerial silks show for the anniversary bash.
He was joined by local talent including British junior men’s champion PJ Hallam and Scottish Ice Skating Champion Luke Digby who both performed on the ice.
The gala also included a demonstration from the Sheffield Junior Ice Hockey Academy. It followed sessions where members of the public could skate at the centre, in Attercliffe, for £1.
Mark, aged 28, who trained at iceSheffield throughout his career before becoming a coach at the venue, said: “It was an amazing show.”
The £15.7 million facility, run by Sheffield International Venues and opened by Princess Anne in May 2003, is one of only two dual-pad Olympic ice rinks in the UK.
