Ruskins for sale at £49,500
IT sounds like a snip at £49,500 leasehold but Ruskins Bar in Tudor Square, Sheffield, is facing tough times.
The bar has been in administration for several months now and one of the potential sources of custom, playgoers at the Crucible opposite, have long dried up while the theatre is closed.
Even worse, Tudor Square is like a building site.
Ruskins was opened in 2005 by musician Andy Scott and business partner Bryn Morgan for the more mature customer who used the theatres.
They put it on the market last September at 225,000 – a price indistry sources described as optimistic.
It later went into administration and the price was reduced to 75,000 before the present figure.
The business has been trading all the time even though it is in administration.
Ruskins is for sale through Brownill Bateman.
