Tory man sets up base
A CONSERVATIVE candidate has moved into the Doncaster constituency that he hopes to win from Labour at the General Election.
Matt Stephens, who has a background in charity work and community projects, is standing against sitting MP Caroline Flint, a former Government minister, for the Don Valley seat.
Mr Stephens has moved to Hatfield, where he intends to get out and about to see what issues affect the local community.
He said: "I've been so heartened by the welcome people have given me.
It seems they are not used to people in politics out and about in the community listening to their views."
