Mothers’ Day is a month away, but if you’re thinking of spoiling her with some ‘me-time’ at a spa, you need to book now, says local salons.
There are some good package offers available but places are booking up already for treatments close to Mothering Sunday.

For a discounted price of £85, mums get a day that begins with a treatment steeped in the rich cultures and philosophies of Asia - the Spa Ritual. A therapist uses bespoke aromatherapy oils and a sequence of movements on the feet and lower legs specifically designed to kick start the circulation, drain toxins and relax mind and body.
A Dedicated Comfort Massage follows, addressing the areas most in need of relaxation using a customised blend of aromatherapy oils. The third experience included in the Rejuvenate Day For Mum is the 40-minute Beautiful Back treatment, which uses purifying and balancing essential oils and acts like a deep cleansing facial for the back, where are used to hydrate and restore the skin.
At 1877, the luxury spa and hamam housed in the city’s Victorian Turkish baths just off Glossop Road, a Tranquil Touch Mothers’ Day package is selling like hot cakes.
