Folded paper airplanes are great fun but they only fly for a few seconds - until now. Meet the world’s first smartphone-controlled paper flying machine.

PowerUp 3.0, which you attach to your paper plane, is a rechargable battery powered Smart Module, complete with propeller and rudder

It comes with a smartphone app.

Start the app. throw your paper plane with the Smart Phone attached and tilt your smartphone to the left or to the right, to steer, or increase or reduce throttle to go up or down.

The £30 ($49.99) device enables your plane to fly for 10 minutes at a time, and has a range of 180ft (55 metres) using Bluetooth technology.

It combines the simplicity of classic hand-folded paper aeroplanes with state-of-the-art Bluetooth technology

Entrepreneur Shai Goitein, a former cargo pilot, came up with the idea after spending 15 years behind the controls of aeroplanes.
