Students show their enter-pies
STUDENTS are inventing pie fillings, valeting cars, giving makeovers and papering walls – all in the name of enterprise.
The Doncaster College students have been taking part in a variety of activities to mark National Enterprise Week.
Jayne Robinson, enterprise project manager at the college, said: "This year Doncaster College, supported by the Success Doncaster Project, is embracing and celebrating Enterprise Week, unleashing people's enterprising ideas, sharing good practice among students and staff, and raising awareness of how enterprising and innovative departments are.
"Enterprise Week is a great opportunity to showcase what our departments already do all year round to help foster an enterprise culture, or alternatively to launch a new initiative or scheme."
Activities at The Hub include inventing a pie filling and hairdressing competitions, car valeting and a winter check, and beauty pampering sessions.
Students at High Melton are staging a nature hunt, and holding a culture showcase and exhibition.
