Students' charity boost
DONCASTER College students and staff raised more than £1,000 for charity as part of Friday's Children In Need appeal.
The fundraising total, currently at 1,195, is expected to rise even further as money rolls in from across the college’s sites. The fun continued throughout this week with sponsored leg waxings and a sponsored Shakespeare reading.
The College’s Hub campus was filled students in fancy dress, each of them donating 50p to wear their costumes.
College spokesman Matt Needham said: “It’s great to see students getting involved in fundraising events like this.”
