A DONCASTER car enthusiast is promising to save motorists money in the battle against soaring petrol costs with his new business venture.
Simon Green, of Armthorpe, has become a Black Code vehicle re-mapping specialist after purchasing the growing brand's mobile technician franchise for Doncaster, Barnsley and Rotherham.
The Black Code system offers motorists the chance to save 15 per cent on fuel costs while increasing engine power and torque by 35 per cent.
"Motorists have been hit by a VAT rise and an increase in fuel costs and are now paying around 1.30 a litre - about 20 pence more than a year ago.
"Black Code can wipe out that increase in costs," he said.
