Rugby stars at charity dinner

RUGBY League legends Garry Schofield and Andy Gregory will be at The Hub's Waterfront Restaurant later this month as Doncaster College hosts another SportsAid fundraising dinner.

The duo will be at the campus on Thursday and places are still available.

Doncaster is well known to Garry; he was once on the staff at Doncaster Dragons.

Rob Clarke, SportsAid Regional Development Manager, said: "It promises to be a great occasion and, if last year's event is anything to go by, the food and hospitality is of the very highest order.

"The event is a must for rugby fans young and old. Guests are welcome from 7pm and the evening should finish no later than 10.30pm."

Sports Aid is a charity which aims to identify and fund talented youngsters and disability athletes when they receive very little, if any, assistance from other sources. Contact Rob Clarke at robert@yorks-sportsaid.demon.co.uk.
