Pupils laid the foundations for teacher's makeover
A DONCASTER teacher probably had no idea what he was letting himself in for when he agreed to a makeover at the hands of some pupils.
And here's the result, thanks to the endeavours of Beth Jarvis, Keeley Anderson, Jordan Revil and Sophie Whitnal from Year seven at Sir Thomas Wharton Community College, Edlington.
They came up with the brainwave for raising money for Children in Need after deciding travel and tourism teacher Pete Avery isn't as good looking as he could be so they decided that they were going to give him a makeover.
With buckets of blusher, loads of lip gloss and tons of foundation they started a teacher make over which took 30 minutes to complete, including time for nail varnish and leg shaving.
"This was a really amazing day; these young ladies have raised over 80 from pledges and donations," said Mr Avery, who toured the school with his 'new look', receiving admiring glances from the ladies in the school kitchens.
