Open lectures at Doncaster College

SHAKESPEARE will be the subject of the first of a series of open lectures at Doncaster College due to start in April.

Dr Monika Smialkowska, the Advanced Studies Curriculum Leader at the college, will be giving the inaugural free lecture at The Stables, High Melton, on Tuesday April 15 at 6.30pm.

Dr Smialkowska's lecture, Toil and Trouble: Shakespeare and the American Melting Pot, will be the first of many after the college launched its own forum last month.

The lecture is free and refreshments will be available.

More details about other lectures will be announced in the coming weeks.
