OAP death: second bail

A YOUNG woman arrested in connection with the death of an 84-year-old pensioner from a Doncaster residential home has been re-bailed by detectives.

Henry Henshaw died in Doncaster Royal Infirmary in November while he was a resident of The Royal care home in Queen Mary’s Road, Rossington.

South Yorkshire Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death and a 22-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter.

She was an employee at The Royal and has had her bail extended to return to the police station in March, said a police spokesman.

An inquest last year was adjourned for more medical tests to be carried out.
