New hospital consultant

A PRIZE-winning anaesthetist has joined the Doncaster and Bassetlaw NHS Foundation Trust.

Dr Michelle Denton, who has an interest in upper gastro-intestinal surgery, was educated in Dundee and completed her anaesthetic examinations in London, joining the Trust from The Yorkshire and the Humber Deanery.

In 2009, she won the Martin Boylan Prize from the Yorkshire Society of Anaesthetists for a clinical audit project.
