New beauty salon looking good in time for party season
A DONCASTER business woman has opened up a new beauty salon just in time to help ladies wanting to shape up in time for the Christmas party season.
The Tanning Lounge in Warmsworth Road, Balby, is owned by Claire Cottee and offers fake tanning and weightloss services
Claire said: "The tanning industry has received a lot of criticism recently - some of it deserved.
"But if it's done properly in a regulated and safe way tanning can actually be a good thing and can help with a number of medical and psychological conditions. We just have to re-educate people in this country to tan safely."
The salon also has a piece of fat-busting training equipment, called Flabelos. Users perform a series of gentle exercises on a vibrating machine which helps tone up the body.
Said Claire: "You can lose a dress size in three weeks as the Flabelos burns fat and increases energy levels while increasing muscle strength, reducing cellulite and boosting the body's collagen production. It's low impact so causes no harm to joints, it's mood-enhancing as it increases serotonin levels and it also stimulates blood flow which can help get rid of varicose veins."
