Let theatre bosses know what you think of production… and maybe win £50

DONCASTER Little Theatre is inviting its audience to become theatre critics for the night – with a chance to win £50.

Starting with It's Never Too Late, which premieres tonight at the King Street venue, a new audience survey is being introduced which gives the opportunity to let the theatre know what you think of the production.

In return, all completed surveys will be entered into a draw for a cash prize of 50. The theatre wants to find out what audiences want and what they think of the show.

Sandra Norburn, publicity manager for the venue, which is a registered charity, said: "We often hear members of the audience coming out of the theatre saying what a great show they have seen. But we also know that sometimes we don't hit the spot .

"This survey will help us to really get a feel for what our audiences think of the show and the Doncaster Little Theatre experience, and help us to ensure we provide what our customers want – all the time."

Sandra says It's Never Too Late is a feelgood comedy about a 58-year-old woman whose husband of 39 years leaves her for a younger woman, leaving her to re-invent her life.

Doncaster actress Gaye Shepherd plays Susan Shaw in the principal role, and Barbara Upton directs.

The play runs until Saturday May 23. Performances start at 7.30pm. Call the booking office on 01302 340422.
