The TV psychic medium believes he was born with the ability to give proof beyond doubt that loved ones can communicate with back from the other side.

So what does he say to those who claim he's a fake?
"If people said I was, after a show, I'd be quite disappointed to be honest with you. I'd say come along with an open mind,'' said Stockwell, who appears at Sheffield City Hall on Wednesday night, July 1, 2009. Ticket details below.
"I've got friends who think I'm a little bit crazy. It's not for everybody. I'm very grounded but I've been born with this ability to feel things, to know things, to see things and sometimes hear things. It is a gift. But beyond that it's an ability. People are born with it. It's such a blessing. I believe I'm here to give comfort, but not is a wishy washy namby-pamby way, just saying nice things to people, but by coming up with detail which people know is true.
"It's not creepy or spooky – it's just me really, for two hours, doing a stage performance of mediumship."
Stockwell, whose commitment to his gift is unquestionable, adds: "If you can bless one person's life to absolutely believe beyond doubt that their loved one is actually going to be there waiting for them, and it gives them comfort, then that's worth doing."
It was a case of spirits at the hotel bar the last time he played in Sheffield.
He said: "We did Sheffield last year and then went back to the hotel, where we got drinking in the bar. I'm not a big drinker. I had one too many and I told everyone their fortune. I never do that, ever. I'm not proud of it. But I was on a super psychic moment that night.
"I must have read for about 15-people and I've had a number of people e-mail me since with startling results."
