Inquest into fatal smash

THE inquest into the death of a Woodlands man in a car crash earlier this week has been adjourned by the Doncaster Coroner.

Paul Clewes, aged 42, of First Avenue, was driving a Mitsubishi Shogun which went out of control and smashed into trees on the central reservation of the A638 Great North Road at Adwick-le-Street earlier this week.

Coroner Nicola Mundy was told emergency services attended the scene and an ambulance took Mr Clewes to Doncaster Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced dead.

She adjourned the inquest to await a full police investigation and autopsy report.
