Free film for disabled kids
DONCASTER'S Vue cinema is marking Disability Awareness Day next Saturday with a free screening for families of disabled children.
The Dome Leisure Park venue is offering between 50 and 60 families a showing of Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D.
Coun Andrea Milner, Doncaster Council's cabinet member for children's services, said: "This is a very generous exclusive being offered by the Vue and a fantastic way to mark Disability Awareness Day."
As part of a scheme called Aiming High for Disabled Children, Doncaster Council will also be providing further free screenings for families of children with disabilities throughout the school holidays.
These include many of the big films of the summer such as Transformers, and Harry Potter.
