Extension of yob ban orders

A TRIO of troublemakers banned from Rotherham town centre have had their exclusion orders extended for a further three months.

Two of the mischief-makers have been taken to court and served with Anti-Social Behaviour Orders as well.

The decision to crack down on people causing a nuisance was made by the Rotherham Business Against Crime Partnership - a group including retailers, South Yorkshire Police and Rotherham Council's Town Centre Management team.

Three people already on three-month exclusion orders, banning them from shops, the interchange and library, have had the orders doubled.
